Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer able to provide field service on medical products to area facilities based out of our Company Office. The ideal candidate utilizes specialized knowledge and certification in multiple modalities to conduct tests, repairs, calibrations, inspections and perform preventive maintenance checks on equipment used in medical diagnosis or therapy. Demonstrates a working knowledge of, and ability to use the required test equipment, and have the electronic and mechanical knowledge and skills, including the ability to interpret and effectively utilize service manuals, schematics and other applicable service information, required to perform and document planned maintenance and repair of the diagnostic imaging equipment and systems, as assigned, in accordance with established company procedures.

General duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform planned preventive maintenance, calibrations where certification may be required, and electrical safety inspections on imaging and related equipment in compliance with established standards.
• Perform major repairs by replacing defective components, readjust components to manufacturer’s specifications using appropriate tools and measuring instruments. May require certification in order to complete repairs.
• Confers with manufacturer’s representatives and equipment operators to resolve equipment related problems.
• Provide emergency on-call responsibilities.
• Research and initiate orders for repair parts, working within established budget parameters.
• Conducts and compiles Quality Assurance records and reports necessary for compliance with specifications and policies.
• Document all significant asset related actions in compliance with department practices.
• Repair of devices such as Defibrillators, Electrocardiographs and Patient Monitoring Systems along with required documentation.
• Experience in Anesthesia or Sterilizer service and calibration is highly recommended
• Requires travel.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)
• Associates degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics with Instrumentation Technology,
• Diploma in Biomedical Engineering
• 2-3 years of Biomedical experience
• Superior computer aptitude with experience in Microsoft products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; not to mention proper phone etiquette
• An underlying understanding that customers are at the forefront of our business
• Effective time-management and organizational skills
• Professional attitude and be reliable, trustworthy and detail oriented.
• Ability to function in a fast paced environment, under pressure, with little supervision.

Electronic and Electrical Installation Technician

General duties include but are not limited to:

• Installation of UTP/STP (CAT3/CAT5/CAT6) and Fiber optic cabling to established standards.
• Testing & Certification of CAT5/CAT6 and Fiber optic cabling using Fluke test equipment.
• Physical assembly and installation of hardware and systems (Racks/Cableways/Systems)
• Configuration and verification testing of basic network devices

The ideal candidate would have:

• Degree / Diploma in Electronic / Electrical / E & I Engineering or Computer Sciences Engineering
• Working knowledge of computer systems and networks Certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; not to mention proper phone etiquette
• Strong customer service, time-management and organizational skills.
• A professional attitude, be reliable, trustworthy and detail oriented.
• The ability to work with a team and function with little supervision A valid drivers license and an excellent driving record
